Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Engineer - SMT Quality to oversee quality control in our SMT (Surface Mount Technology) manufacturing process. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in SMT operations and be capable of managing all aspects of in-line and post-line quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Manage IPQC, FQC, and OQC processes in the SMT line
2) Coordinate with customers on quality issues and feedback resolution
3) Drive rejection improvement initiatives and implement root cause analysis
4) Control and monitor line processes to ensure quality compliance
5) Maintain and analyze quality data and reports for ongoing improvements
6)Plan and conduct weekly team meetings to track progress and resolve issues
7) Arrange and conduct internal audits and process reviews
8) Lead new product verification & validation (NPV/V) activities
9) Ensure compliance with quality management systems (QMS)
Desired Candidate Profile:
Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in SMT quality (must be from an SMT manufacturing plant)
Educational Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / related discipline.
Strong knowledge of SMT processes, quality tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone), and standards Excellent communication and customer handling skills Ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally under pressure
