This role requires expertise in both conventional and addressable panels, ensuring compliance with fire codes. Key duties include programming systems, troubleshooting faults, performing routine inspections, and documenting all work. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a focus on safety are essential. NICET certification and relevant licenses are often preferred. Preferred candidate profile Installs, programs, tests, maintains, and repairs both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems. Troubleshoots system malfunctions, ensures compliance with fire codes (e.g., NFPA), and provides client support. Requires strong technical skills, knowledge of fire alarm components, and relevant certifications (e.g., NICET).
