SME-Process Care & Quality

Role Purpose

To ensure process excellence, product quality, customer satisfaction, and capability building across PBUs by driving daily process care, quality systems, improvements, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Process Care & Quality Control

• Set and monitor KPIV/KPOV and ensure adherence to process standards.
  
• Track FPY, address NCs, and support fast closure of quality issues.
  
• Review DPIs and support AET/DMT teams for daily work management.
  

2. Customer Centricity

• Drive initiatives like NPS, CSI, and Mission Happiness.
  
• Understand customer expectations and ensure product quality alignment.
  
• Provide technical guidance to processors/end users.
  

3. Process Capability & Quality Assurance

• Conduct process/quality audits, review SOPs, and align standards.
  
• Execute CP/CPK studies, Gauge R&R, and SPC-based monitoring.
  
• Ensure effective chemical testing, measurement accuracy, and compliance.
  

4. Value Creation & Process Leadership

• Reduce cost of poor quality through FI/PI and improvement projects.
  
• Support process standardization, waste reduction, and premium-grade production.
  
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for quality inspections and dispatch.
  

5. Product & Process Development

• Support new product/process development and trial evaluations.
  
• Lead CAPEX and value creation projects related to process quality.
  
• Review consumption norms, develop alternate vendors, and support digital initiatives.
  

6. Capability Building & People Engagement

• Coach and mentor AET/DMT teams on process care and quality tools.
  
• Promote FI, PI, Kaizen culture and capability enhancement.
  
• Facilitate training on FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, TRIZ, etc.
  

7. HSE & Sustainability

• Ensure compliance with MOC, HIRA, MSDS, and other HSE norms.
  
• Support safe work practices, hazard mitigation, and statutory adherence.
