Skin Category Head

A Skin Trainer or Skin Category Head is responsible for leading and overseeing the skin care category within a beauty or cosmetics industry. The Category head will play a pivotal role in developing and executing trainings strategies to drive sales, market share, and brand awareness for skin care products. Additionally, they provide training and support to sales teams, educate customers on skin care best practices, and stay abreast of industry trends and innovations.

Responsibilities

Requirement:

• In-depth knowledge of skin care products, ingredients, and formulations, as well as industry trends and consumer preferences
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to inform decision-making
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Leadership abilities, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for beauty and skin care, with a commitment to staying abreast of industry innovations and best practices
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to skin care products and cosmetics industry

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Revision and Up gradation:

• Revisiting the skin curriculum and upgrading it to align with industry standards.
• Incorporating high-value courses on aesthetic practices involving chemical peels, lasers, Jetpeel, MDA, micro-needling, among others.

Teaching Methodology and Activities:

• Constructing teaching methodologies and activities that promote an immersive and experiential learning experience.
• Enhancing the curriculum with practical applications and case studies to ensure comprehensive learning.

Delivery and Execution:

• Monitoring the delivery of education across the entire academy, including salon, nails, and makeup streams.
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards and operational efficiency in implementing aesthetic practices.

Student and Trainer Monitoring:

• Regularly connecting with students to gauge their comfort and satisfaction with the course.
• Engaging with trainers to guide and monitor their performance and gather insights on student progress.

Operational Administration:

• Overseeing administrative functions such as space maintenance, hygiene, and classroom allocation.
• Enforcing discipline, professionalism, and adherence to protocols, including maintaining logbooks, attendance, and uniform policies.

Academic Coordination:

• Mapping classes with established agendas and lesson plans to ensure a structured learning environment.
• Facilitating continuous assessments and guiding trainers for improvement in line with management goals.

Brand Representation:

• Serve as a brand ambassador for the skin care category, representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and media appearances. Build relationships with key influencers, opinion leaders, and beauty professionals to promote brand awareness and credibility.
• Ensure that skin care products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines. Collaborate with quality assurance and regulatory affairs teams to address any product-related issues or concerns.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Skin care, Cosmetology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
