Sitecore Developer

Role Overview: You will be joining Vertis as a skilled Sitecore Developer, focusing on creating high-performance and scalable digital solutions on Sitecore XM Cloud. Your role will involve collaborating with designers, marketers, and other developers to build personalized and content-rich websites using the newest Cloud technologies. Your expertise in Sitecore's architecture, Content Management systems, and modern front-end development practices will be essential in delivering exceptional digital solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and Implement solutions using Next.js and Sitecore XM Cloud, ensuring responsive and optimized web experiences. - Work with Sitecore Headless Services to integrate Sitecore's content APIs for seamless content delivery across devices and channels. - Collaborate with Front-End and UX/UI Designers to create personalized experiences aligned with client needs and business objectives. - Optimize application performance by leveraging Sitecore's capabilities, maintaining high standards for performance, security, and SEO. - Integrate APIs and Third-Party Services into Sitecore XM Cloud to enhance platform functionalities. - Utilize Cloud Services, preferably Vercel, for managing Sitecore XM Cloud deployments and performance optimizations. - Ensure Quality Code through best practices, testing, and adherence to agile methodologies for efficient project delivery. - Stay Updated on the latest advancements in Next.js, Sitecore XM Cloud, and headless CMS technologies to enhance project performance continually. - Provide Support and Troubleshooting, addressing Sitecore and Next.js implementation issues and collaborating with the DevOps team for seamless deployments. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 3+ years of experience working with Sitecore, preferably Sitecore XM or XP, with experience in Sitecore XM Cloud migration or development. - Strong proficiency in Next.js or React, along with modern front-end development skills (JavaScript, HTML, CSS). - Preferably experienced in Sitecore XM Cloud or headless CMS development with knowledge of best practices. - Expertise in Version Control using Git and experience in CI/CD pipelines. - Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketers, designers, and developers. - Sitecore Certification is advantageous. - Experience with React.js, Next.js, JAMstack, Static Site Generation, and serverless architecture is beneficial. - Proficiency in RESTful APIs, GraphQL queries, and API layer optimizations. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and focus on delivering scalable, maintainable code. - Understanding of OAuth2 standard and JSON Web Tokens. - Prior experience with Sitecore JSS (JavaScript Services) is a plus.
