Job Title: Site supervisor

Location: 50 metres from Amirthakadeeswarar main Thirukadaiyur temple

Experience: 3+ years of experience in the construction industry

Education: Diploma or bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.

Key responsibilities

Supervision of on-site activities: Monitor day-to-day work to ensure it aligns with the project plan and schedule.

Workforce management: Assign tasks to construction workers and subcontractors, manage work schedules, and ensure they meet deadlines.

Quality control: Perform regular site inspections to ensure the project meets all design, safety, and budget specifications. Take corrective action when necessary.

Resource management: Control and track the use of materials, equipment, and personnel to minimize waste and maximize efficiency. This also involves ordering materials and scheduling equipment maintenance.

Communication and reporting: Serve as the primary point of contact between on-site teams, project managers, and other stakeholders, such as clients, architects, and engineers. Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, or monthly progress reports.

Problem-solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site, such as delays or resource shortages, in a quick and effective manner.

Qualifications

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Technical knowledge: A solid understanding of construction methods, materials, equipment, and safety regulations. The ability to read and interpret blueprints is also essential.

Problem-solving: Strong analytical and creative thinking to handle unexpected challenges that may arise.

Time management: The ability to organize and prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
