Site Supervisor

Job Title Site Supervisor – Aluminium Windows & Façade Works  Location Thane | Mira Road | Kandivali | Mulund Project Sites  Job Requirement (Role Overview – Easy Language) We are looking for a responsible and experienced Site Supervisor for aluminium windows and façade works. The supervisor will be responsible for managing site activities from start to finish, coordinating with labour, site authorities, office team, and factory, and ensuring that work is carried out properly, safely, and as per drawings and instructions. This role requires good communication, basic documentation skills, and handson experience in aluminium window installation. The supervisor is expected to take overall ownership of the assigned work area, not just limited tasks.  Key Responsibilities & Job Description 1. Overall Site Responsibility   Take charge of assigned site areas and work fronts. Ensure work starts only when the site is ready and continues smoothly until completion and handover. 2. Daily Work Planning & Labour Guidance   Plan daily activities based on available work fronts. Guide labour teams clearly on what work is to be done, where it is to be done, and how it should be executed. 3. Coordination with Site & Office Teams   Communicate regularly with the client’s site team, consultants, office staff, and factory regarding progress, requirements, issues, and nextday planning. 4. Material Checking & Control   Check aluminium windows, frames, shutters, glass, and hardware received at site. Ensure materials match approved shop drawings and site requirements before installation. 5. Supervision of Installation Works   Supervise installation of aluminium windows, doors, glazing, and façade elements to ensure proper alignment, fixing, sealing, and finish quality. 6. Drawing & Technical Understanding   Read and understand shop drawings and basic technical details related to aluminium windows. Highlight site issues or mismatches to the office team for timely correction. 7. Daily Reporting & Documentation   Prepare daily work reports covering manpower, work progress, material status, and site issues. Maintain proper documentation and share updates through WhatsApp, email, or prescribed formats. 8. Meetings & Site Communication   Attend site meetings as required and communicate instructions clearly to labour and updates clearly to the office and factory teams. 9. Discipline, Safety & Accountability   Maintain discipline among labour, ensure safe working practices, and remain accountable for work quality, progress, and coordination in the assigned area.  Candidate Criteria (Essential Requirements)  Experience in aluminium windows and façade installation (handson site experience required).  Ability to handle labour teams and site coordination independently.  Basic ability to read and understand shop drawings.  Good communication skills with site staff, labour, and office teams.  Ability to prepare daily work reports and site updates.  Willingness to work across Thane, Mira Road, Kandivali, and other MMR locations.  Responsible attitude with ownership mindset.  Important Note This role requires practical site involvement and coordination, not just supervision by name. Candidates with genuine aluminium window experience will be preferred.
