Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and execute the

  fabrication and erection of steel structures

  including columns, beams, platforms, pipe racks, and support systems.
• Oversee

  equipment fabrication and erection

  , including tanks, hoppers, mechanical equipment, and heavy machinery installation.
• Manage

  pipeline fabrication and erection

  , including routing, alignment, welding, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Interpret and execute work as per

  engineering drawings, structural GA diagrams, isometrics, and P&ID layouts

  .
• Plan and manage

  shutdowns and breakdown maintenance

  for steel plant systems like blast furnaces, rolling mills, and conveyor lines.
• Ensure strict compliance with

  HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)

  norms and maintain high-quality workmanship at the site.
• Coordinate with plant engineers, contractors, vendors, and third-party inspectors to ensure timely and efficient site execution.
• Handle

  material management, tool & equipment usage

  , and

  optimum deployment of workforce

• Maintain

  Daily Progress Reports (DPRs)

  , material tracking, and quality documentation.
• Conduct daily

  toolbox talks

  , enforce PPE compliance, and actively support all safety measures

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualification:

  Any Graduation/ B.E. / B.Tech/Diploma in

  Mechanical Engineering

  .

• Experience:

  Minimum 4-5 years of strong, hands-on experience in site supervision within steel plants or heavy fabrication projects.
• Strong knowledge of site workflows, manpower handling, and technical execution.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be flexible to work in dynamic site environments and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety practices and site regulations is essential.
