Site Supervisor (Civil)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction site operations. The candidate will be responsible for supervising workers, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with engineers and management to ensure timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on site.
• Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Manage and guide site workers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and vendors.
• Monitor material usage and report shortages or excess.
• Prepare daily progress reports and site documentation.
• Ensure project milestones are achieved within scheduled timelines.
• Resolve on-site issues and technical challenges efficiently.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks of ongoing work.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards
• Good leadership and team management skills
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and reporting tools

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction field as a Site Supervisor or similar role
• Graduate in any discipline (Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering is an advantage)
• Willingness to work on-site and in challenging environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control procedures
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Shillong, Meghalaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
