Job Description

You Are

Build, operate and manage Linux systems on the AWS Cloud and physical servers for the client on-site.

Duties And Responsibilities

Own and manage Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) serversManage AWS resources like EC2, Route53 DNS and S3 bucketsManagement of MySQL / PostgresSQL DB ServicesHandling alerts from various system monitoring applications like NagiosSupport the internal IT systems and corporate networkAssist development teams on Network and Linux queriesAssist in vendor management activities for IT related requirementsAutomation with Puppet / Chef / Ansible

Qualifications

At least 3 years of work experienceHands on experience in installing and managing Ubuntu/CentOS Linux systems in any environmentExposure to basic EC2 tasks like launching a new instance on Amazon Web Services (AWS)Experience with Nagios Monitoring SystemExposure to MySQL/Postgres databaseBasics shell scripting in bash (or any other scripting language)Exposure to devops automation framework (Chef/Puppet/Ansible)
