Role & responsibilities

The company is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with expertise in Release Management and DevOps to design and manage CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and secure applications. The role emphasizes ensuring 24x7 application reliability, automation, and effective collaboration within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designs and implements CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Ensures 24x7 application availability through redundancy and automated workflows.
• Creates and monitors notification for critical application
• Deploys and maintains secure applications, ensuring thorough security testing.
• Resolves issues promptly while delivering high-quality, self-tested outputs.
• Builds workflow to auto-remediation of periodic activities
• Stays updated on emerging technologies and contributes to Agile sprint planning.
• Collaborates with global teams and mentors junior engineers.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or an equivalent Engineering discipline.
• Possess 6-15 years of hands-on software development experience, including at least 5 years specializing in Release Management (or equivalent 9 years in relevant development roles).
• Demonstrate proficiency in AWS and Azure services (including VPC, EC2, IAM, and Security features), alongside Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Git, Artifactory, EKS/AKS, and Helm.
• Exhibit strong skills in Python, Bash/PowerShell scripting, and comprehensive Linux system administration.
• Bring hands-on experience with identity management protocols such as SAML, OpenID Connect, and Active Directory.
• Show proficiency with telemetry solutions including New Relic, Splunk, or Dynatrace.
• Exhibit a deep mastery of Agile methodologies, software design principles, and established industry best practices.
• Possess outstanding capabilities in problem-solving, communication, and analytical thinking.
• Be a proactive, agile learner and cohesive team collaborator, with demonstrated success in distributed, remote team settings.
• AWS or Azure certifications are strongly preferred.
