We have an urgent opening for the position of Project Coordinator ( @ Bangalore , Ernakulam) We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to plan and oversee a wide variety of construction projects from beginning to end. The Construction Project Coordinator we are looking for will have previous experience in construction management projects and be knowledgeable of regulations and permits required. Oversee the planning and delivery of construction projects.The ideal applicant will be highly organized, with the ability to plan ahead and multitask in order to meet deadlines and keep projects under budget. They organize logistics, delegate work and keep track of spending. He has to play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing projects. They are accountable for the entire project scope, project team, resources, and the success of the project. Roles and Responsibilities Construction Project Manager Job Responsibilities Include Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information Overview supervision duties on project to ensure general compliance of the works with specification and contract requirements and when necessary, cause to address deficiencies associated with the same. Major are of competence include planning, Mobilization of resources like materials, setting up complete project infrastructure, Execution ,Fund Forecast , cost Analysis , Rate Analysis, Material reconciliations and vendor negotiations. Set up and manage support function including tracking, reporting and internal communication, planning and execution support. Producing regular progress reports for the client, the project team and other internal and external stakeholders Review execution team at site and proper planning in execution and support for timely mobilization of manpower , materials and machineries required time to time basis. Coordinating data management and information transfer , including setting up and maintaining filing system, document logs and action item list. Approval of sub contractor bills . Supporting for timely submission of client bill. Interfacing with the accounting team to ensure compliance with client invoicing requirement , preparation of invoices and assisting with facilitation of timely payments Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management Make sure that clients needs are met as projects evolve Help prepare budgets Analyze risks and opportunities Oversee project procurement management Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement) Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests Preferred candidate profile Skill Required Coordinating,Planning ,Monitoring and Evaluation ,Problem solving, Time management, and Risk Management. Establishing construction schedules Negotiating contracts and obtaining permits Managing on-site construction personnel Reviewing compliance with federal and local safety guidelines and standards Leadership and business management Be thorough and pay attention to detail Excellent verbal communication skills Willing to travel Experience in handling multiple project. Language preferred English ,Hindi and Kannada, Qualification / Experience Required: Bachelor's degree-B. tech -B.E/ Diploma in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture etc. 10 to 15 years of experience as Project Manager in project management within construction Previous working experience in Government project would be an added advantage. Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions Strong leadership and management skills warm regards, Usha Construction.
