Position Title

Senior Site Engineer (Civil) - Building Construction

Position Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Site Engineer with extensive hands-on experience in building construction to manage site operations, ensure quality execution, and coordinate with project stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering building projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all civil construction activities at site
• Review architectural and structural drawings, identify clashes, and resolve design issues
• Prepare method statements, site execution plans, and quality control procedures
• Monitor daily progress, maintain site records, and prepare progress reports
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and labor workforce effectively
• Conduct quality inspections, approve materials, and ensure proper testing procedures
• Monitor concrete pouring activities, formwork installation, and reinforcement work
• Resolve technical issues and provide practical solutions during construction
• Ensure safety protocols and housekeeping standards are maintained
• Prepare material requirement plans and coordinate with procurement team
• Handle site measurements, billing documentation, and variation claims

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 5-8 years of experience in building construction projects
• Strong knowledge of RCC structures, brickwork, plastering, and finishing works
• Proficiency in reading structural and architectural drawings
• Experience with residential, commercial, or institutional building projects
• Understanding of IS codes, NBC norms, and construction standards
