Roles and Responsibilities Leads Lab and Field Team for proper execution of lab and field work Review of contractual requirements and make execution plan for field work and lab work Develop and deliver the geotechnical project management program including all the details of a project to the team members. Ensure the progress of project is evaluated on a regular basis. Develop and monitor the project design schedule to meet Client and organization objectives. Compile and keep updated all reports in all stages of work. Prepare interpretative reports and design suitable foundations as per project requirement Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player and have a knowledge sharing approach. Must have good communication skills to write high quality technical reports High professional standards and work ethics with a commitment to equality, diversity and sustainability. Must be flexible and adapt to working in a demanding environment, including the need to travel at site if/when required. Desired Candidate Profile Postgraduate in Geotechnical engineering from an accredited premier university or higher Bachelors Degree in engineering from accredited University Comprehensive experience in geotechnical designs and associated discipline software Overall Experience of 5 to 8 years in the field of Geotechnical Investigations and Laboratory testing Knowledge of ground improvement methods for all types of soft ground. Knowledge of Site investigation techniques with experience in field investigation works Experience of slope stability analyses using appropriate software

Job Requirements You will be part of an integrated Site Assessment (survey acquisition) and Ground Engineering team providing site survey and developing fit-for-purpose ground models and ground-engineering for bid assessment through design, construction, and operation. Provide geohazards expertise across offshore wind portfolio through the project lifecycle, including geohazard survey and consultancy scoping and technical oversight in survey and consultancy execution ground modelling and geohazard management for permanent and temporary works Ensure geohazard (seismicity, shallow gas, slope instability etc) and obstructions (challenging seafloor and seabed conditions, debris, boulders, UXO, etc) identification, assessment and mitigation, for appropriate depths of interest (e.g. cable or foundation), by avoidance or by design at windfarm sites, cable routes, landfalls and onshore facilities, during site investigation and project design and execution. Work within an integrated geoscience team to build fit-for-purpose ground models for wind farm engineering. Quantify and present ground engineering risks to relevant customers to ensure they are understood, controlled and continuously reduced across the business. Collaborate with safety, consent and procurement teams to ensure robust execution of works. Collaborate with associated foundation, and transmission engineering, and construction disciplines to safely deliver site investigations and project infrastructure. Ensure safe and cost-efficient design and integrity management throughout asset life in accordance with and industry technical practices and standards. Maintain relationships with third party suppliers, contractors, and other partners. Actively contribute to technology development and to the wider geohazards and geophysics communities of practice to share knowledge and findings. Work Experience Required Technical Experience: Excellent knowledge of industry codes and standards.Project management expertise of site investigation and ground engineering activities.Expertise in planning and implementation of site investigations, characterisation and coordinated ground model development.Expertise in geophysical survey of the seafloor and seabed over the depth of interest, including data acquisition, processing, interpretation.Expertise in assimilation and integration of data with geological and geotechnical (probes, logs, tests) information, and development of ground models.Expertise in identification, assessment and management of geohazard and ground risks. Fundamental understanding of soil and rock (geo)physics. Experience with using geohazard software (e.g. IHS kingdom, Petrel). Experience of i) advanced cone penetration test interpretation, ii) down-hole geophysical logging interpretation. Awareness of i) machine-learning geo-data integration, ii) structural aspects of foundation design iii) transmission-system design and iv) Energy Yield and metocean assessment. Coding/ scripting expertise (e.g. Matlab, python). Required Professional Competencies : Excellent proficiency in English (written and verbal), and interpersonal skill s both oral and written. Ability to manage time effectively, working with distributed teams and time-zones. Proven expertise of working in multi-disciplinary teams and major projects with minimal technical supervision. Strong, proven Stakeholder management, and collaboration. Comfortable reporting up to senior management . Required Education & Certification: Geoscience, or Geo-Engineering degree About 10 years or more of relevant industry experience. Appropriate professional accreditation.
