Site Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Site Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in site execution, quality control, coordination with vendors and labour teams, and a strong understanding of the billing process. The candidate must also possess sound technical knowledge in drywall partition work, MS fabrication, Interior Designing and interior finishing activities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant construction/project management software is essential.Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day site operations to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
• Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications, codes, and standards.
• Oversee and coordinate drywall partition work, MS (mild steel) fabrication, Interior Designing and interior finishing activities, ensuring technical and aesthetic compliance.
• Coordinate with material vendors, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of required materials.
• Coordinate with labor contractors and workforce to ensure productivity and resolve on-site issues.
• Monitor site progress and prepare regular progress reports for project managers.
• Handle the billing and measurement process at site, including preparation and verification of bills, BOQs, and reconciliation statements.
• Maintain proper documentation related to site execution, material usage, quality checks, and work completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and relevant project management or engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project) for planning, documentation, and reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction work.

- Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans

- Strong organisational and time-management skills

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- High attention to detail and quality orientation

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
