Interior Designer

Role & responsibilities

• Conceptualise, design, and develop interior layouts and presentations based on client requirements
• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D renderings using design software
• Lead client meetings, understand design briefs, and provide innovative solutions. Later coordinate and follow up with clients for payments.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and on-site teams for material selection and timely project execution
• Prepare BOQs, mood boards, and material boards for client approvals
• Work closely with project and procurement teams to ensure design implementation aligns with concept
• Conduct regular site visits to oversee quality, finishes, and execution
• Ensure design compliance with local standards, safety, and functional requirements
• Assist in costing, budgeting, and closing deals with prospective clients
• Maintain clear documentation and communication throughout the design process

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Interior Designer with strong creative, technical, and project management abilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential and commercial interior projects, with a proven track record in design development, client handling, and material coordination.

Required Skills & Software Proficiency:

• Strong command over AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
• Proficiency in SketchUp, V-Ray, Photoshop, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of Revit or 3ds Max is a plus
• Knowledge of materials, market rates, and finishing standards
• Excellent visualization, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
• Fluent in English and Hindi for client and vendor interactions

Education:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Interior Design / Architecture / Interior Architecture from a recognized institute
