Job Summary:

The Site Engineer - Civil will be responsible for overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site supervision, quality control, and coordination with project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision and Coordination:

1. Daily Supervision:

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure smooth workflow.

1. Progress Monitoring:

• Track and report on the progress of construction activities.
• Ensure that construction activities are completed according to the project schedule.

1. Resource Management:

• Assist in managing and allocating site resources, including materials, equipment, and labor.
• Ensure that materials and equipment are used efficiently and effectively.

Quality Control:

1. Inspections:

• Conduct regular inspections of construction work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and rectify any issues related to workmanship, materials, or construction methods.

1. Documentation:

• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, inspection reports, and material delivery records.
• Prepare and submit site reports to the project manager.

• Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Implement quality control measures and conduct tests on materials as required.
• Identify potential safety hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.
• Respond promptly to any safety incidents or emergencies on site.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on project progress and any issues encountered.
• Address and resolve any technical issues or conflicts that arise on site.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team.

Health and Safety:

1. Safety Procedures:

• Ensure that all site activities adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks to promote a safe working environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Education:

• Dip/ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in civil engineering or construction.

• Experience in site supervision and quality control is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and safety standards.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
