Simulation Engineer

Role Overview: As a Simulation Engineer at the pioneering deep-tech company in the aerospace and aviation sector located in Bhubaneswar, your primary responsibility will be to develop, test, and implement simulations to replicate real-world scenarios. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, utilize simulation software to create accurate models, analyze results for actionable insights, troubleshoot issues, optimize simulation processes, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the engineering team. Key Responsibilities: - Perform detailed mechanical simulations, including structural, thermal, dynamic, and fatigue analyses for key components and systems of the eVTOL aircraft. - Develop and validate CAD models for simulations, ensuring alignment with design specifications and manufacturing requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (aerodynamics, propulsion, systems engineering) to integrate simulation results into the overall vehicle design process. - Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) as required, utilizing industry-standard tools. - Optimize designs based on simulation feedback, balancing performance, weight, and cost considerations. - Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation to support certification and compliance processes. - Troubleshoot mechanical issues during prototyping and testing, leveraging simulation insights to recommend solutions. Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in mechanical simulation, with hands-on experience in CAD modeling (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent). - Proficiency in simulation tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar. - Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes, especially for lightweight structures. - Prior experience in the aerospace or automotive industry is highly desirable. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a detail-oriented mindset.,
