Job Description: Designation: SIL Test Developer Experience: 4 - 8 Years Work Location: Bangalore Education: BE/ME - CSE/EEE/ECE or equivalent Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in SiL testing, embedded systems, or automotive software development. Strong proficiency in simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE VEOS, or similar platforms. Programming expertise in Python, MATLAB, or C++ for test automation. Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet). Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins). Key Responsibilities: Test Development and Implementation Develop Vehicle dynamic models Create digital twins (3d-world map) Create sensor models Develop and implement test cases for SiL environments to validate automotive software functionalities. Create automated test scripts using programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++. Simulate real-world scenarios to test software robustness, performance, and edge cases. SiL Environment Setup and Maintenance Establish new simulation environments and concepts Configure and maintain the SiL environment, ensuring compatibility with virtual ECUs and simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE VEOS, or ETAS LABCAR. Develop and integrate models to simulate sensors, actuators, and control systems. Ensure seamless integration with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines. Automation and Optimization Automation of test tool chain Design and implement test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage. Optimize simulation runtime to enhance test execution speed and scalability. Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and deployment workflows. Testing and Debugging Execute manual and automated tests, analyzing results to identify system defects and areas for improvement. Debug software and models within the SiL environment, providing actionable feedback to development teams. Validate software behavior under fault conditions and edge cases. Documentation and Reporting Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, scripts, results, and defect reports. Provide comprehensive reports on system performance, test coverage, and identified issues. Ensure traceability of test artifacts to requirements and standards. Standards and Compliance Ensure testing aligns with industry standards such as ISO 26262, ASPICE, and AUTOSAR. Validate system compliance with functional safety and performance criteria. #LI-DNI
