Job Description: Designation: SIL Test Analyst Experience: 4 - 8 Years Work Location: Bangalore Education: BE/ME - CSE/EEE/ECE or equivalent Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in SiL testing, embedded systems, or automotive software validation. Proficiency in simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE VEOS, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet). Experience with scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB for test automation. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and AUTOSAR. Knowledge of ADAS/AD systems and real-time control applications. Familiarity with testing tools like Vector CANalyzer, CANoe, or ETAS INCA. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Key Responsibilities Test Planning and Development Create detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts for validating embedded software in a Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) environment. Define and document test strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage of system requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional specifications and performance criteria. SiL Environment Setup Configure and maintain SiL testing environments, including model integration and virtual ECU setups. Develop simulation models and scenarios to mimic real-world driving conditions. Ensure compatibility of the SiL environment with tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE VEOS, or ETAS LABCAR. Test Execution and Analysis Execute manual and automated tests to evaluate software functionality, performance, and reliability. Simulate edge cases and fault conditions to assess system robustness. Analyze test results, identify anomalies, and provide feedback to development teams for debugging and resolution. Automation and Optimization Develop and implement test automation scripts to streamline SiL testing processes. Integrate automated testing frameworks with continuous integration pipelines. Optimize simulation runtime and test execution for efficiency. Documentation and Reporting Maintain comprehensive documentation of test results, issues, and resolutions.Prepare detailed reports on test coverage, defect trends, and system performance metrics. Ensure test artifacts are traceable to system requirements and standards. Standards and Compliance Ensure all testing processes comply with industry standards such as ISO 26262, ASPICE, or AUTOSAR.
