The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high-precision CNC/VMC machines to ensure consistent performance, accuracy, and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Independently handle disassembly, inspection, repair, and installation of ball screws in CNC/VMC machines. Replace and adjust spindle bearings , including preload setting, alignment checks, and thermal/vibration analysis. Perform Turcite application, scraping, bonding, and alignment of machine slideways and guide surfaces. Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance for CNC/VMC machines used in precision manufacturing. Use precision tools (e.g., dial indicators, micrometers, laser alignment tools) for measurement and machine geometry corrections. Maintain detailed service records and reports for repairs, replacements, and adjustments. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to schedule and prioritise machine maintenance activities. Implement standard maintenance procedures to extend the lifespan of machine components. Train junior technicians and support troubleshooting escalations. Required Skills and Experience: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical field. Minimum 6–8 years of experience in precision machine maintenance.
