Showroom Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring an enjoyable shopping experience for our clients.

Duties

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring efficient cash handling practices.
• Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems to process sales and manage inventory.
• Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of current market trends and product offerings, particularly in lighting sales.
• Assist in managing customer accounts and follow up on inquiries or concerns.
• Ensure the sales floor is well-organized, stocked, and visually appealing to attract customers.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and enhance overall performance.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective customer interaction.
• Ability to demonstrate upselling techniques and account management skills to maximize sales opportunities.
• A keen interest in market trends related to lighting and home improvement products is a plus.
• Male candidate preferred
