Key Responsibilities - Lead should-cost analysis for machined parts, cast components, sheet metal and complex assemblies used in OEM machinery. - Perform teardown and reverse engineering to derive cost structures and identify cost-saving opportunities. - Collaborate with design, procurement, and supplier development teams to validate cost models and support negotiation strategies. - Utilize tools such as aPriori, DFMA, and Excel-based costing platforms for cost estimation. - Conduct material analysis, dimensional measurement, and engineering documentation to support costing accuracy. Required Skills & Qualifications - BE/ME Mech - 8-10 yr of exp. in should costing, value engineering, or cost estimation. - Strong understanding of forging, casting processes (e.g., sand casting, ductile iron), machining operations - Proficiency in costing software tools(e.g., FMEA, regression analysis, FAST diagrams). - preferably in the agri or construction equipment domain. - Exp in design-to-cost, make vs. buy
