Responsibilities
1. Deep understanding of cost working for Sheetmetal, Plastics, Machining, Casting and Secondary Operations. Knowledge on PCBs, wiring harnesses are added advantage. 2. Proficient in Excel-based costing methodologies, with added advantage of familiarity with tooling concepts and tools such as aPriori, DFMEA, and TcPCM. 3. Experience in teardown analysis and VA/VE 4. Proficient in analyzing Bill of Materials (BOM). 5. Strong coordination skills with internal teams and external customers 6. Proficient in suggesting cost-effective alternatives backed by detailed study reports 7. Hands-on experience with manufacturing and assembly lines, including equipment 8. Strong command of Excel formulas/functions for building dynamic cost models 9. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Power BI 10. Capable of evaluating material, labor, and overhead costs for accurate pricing
