Description
Key Responsibilities: Develop and customize Shopify themes, templates, and layouts to create engaging eCommerce experiences. Build and integrate Shopify apps, plugins, and APIs to enhance store functionality. Write clean, scalable PHP code for Shopify-related customizations and back-end integrations. Optimize Shopify stores for performance, security, and scalability, ensuring a smooth user experience. Work closely with designers, marketers, and project managers to meet business requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve Shopify-related technical issues, including complex API integrations. Maintain and enhance existing PHP-based applications used for Shopify integrations. Implement best practices in eCommerce SEO, page speed optimization, and user experience. Stay up to date with Shopify’s latest features, industry trends, and development best practices. Requirements 4+ years of experience in Shopify development with expertise in PHP, Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Strong knowledge of Shopify APIs, webhooks, and custom app development. Experience in PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony) for custom Shopify integrations. Proficiency in MySQL, database optimization, and query performance tuning. Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and resolve Shopify and PHP-related issues. Experience with Git version control, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of eCommerce best practices, conversion optimization, and UI/UX principles. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
