Shopify Developer Intern

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Shopify Developer Intern to join our development team. In this role, you will assist in designing, developing, and optimizing Shopify-based eCommerce solutions. This internship provides hands-on experience with real client projects and an opportunity to grow your skills under the guidance of experienced developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and customizing Shopify websites and themes.
• Modify and create custom features using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Support integration of third-party Shopify apps and APIs.
• Work with designers to convert UI/UX mockups into functional pages.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform debugging, and ensure store functionality.
• Assist with store maintenance, updates, and performance improvements.
• Participate in testing and quality assurance to ensure project standards are met.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of the Shopify platform and eCommerce workflows.
• Knowledge of Liquid templating language (or willingness to learn).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

• Knowledge of Shopify API or Shopify app development.
• Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub).
• Basic understanding of SEO, page speed optimization, or UI/UX principles.

Eligibility

• Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Freshers with relevant training or projects in web development are encouraged to apply.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
