About the Role:

Shopify Web Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive Shopify e-commerce websites.
• Customize Shopify themes and templates using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Integrate third-party apps and APIs to enhance site functionality.
• Optimize site performance, speed, and SEO to increase conversions.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, content creators, and marketing teams.
• Troubleshoot bugs and implement solutions in a timely manner.
• Maintain best practices in code quality, version control (Git), and documentation.
• Stay updated on Shopify updates, trends, and e-commerce technologies.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify platform development.
• Strong proficiency in

  Liquid

  , HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
• Experience in creating custom Shopify themes and modifying existing themes.
• Solid understanding of e-commerce fundamentals and user experience.
• Experience integrating Shopify with third-party tools (payment gateways, shipping, CRM, ERP, etc.).
• Familiarity with Shopify Plus, headless commerce, or custom app development is a plus.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web performance optimisation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of GA4, Facebook Pixel, and other analytics/tracking tools.
• Experience with other e-commerce platforms like Woo Commerce or Magneto (optional).
