Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Shopify Solutions Architect to lead the technical implementation and optimization of scalable Shopify Plus solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Shopifys ecosystem, including custom theme development, app integrations, and performance optimization. You will work closely with business, design, and development teams to deliver technical solutions that drive results and ensure high standards in security, performance, and maintainability. Qualification: UG / PG Graduates Experience: 10 to 15 Years Location: Chennai / Coimbatore / Bengalore, /Pune, Work Time: 2pm to 11pm Work Mode: Hybrid Model (3 Days work from office) Notice Preferred: 0-30 Days. Preferred Project experience: Ecommerce / Retail Key Responsibilities: Architect and Develop Scalable Shopify Solutions: Design and implement high-performance Shopify Plus solutions tailored to business needs. Build scalable custom Shopify themes, plugins, and integrations that align with the companys e-commerce goals. Ensure systems are robust, scalable, and easy to maintain while meeting business objectives. Shopify Plus Implementation & Custom Development: Lead the technical implementation of Shopify Plus, leveraging its advanced features to meet client requirements. Develop custom themes, apps, and features tailored to specific client needs. Manage Shopify store migrations, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal downtime. Integration of Third-Party Systems: Integrate Shopify with third-party systems, including ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and marketing tools. Ensure seamless data flow and functionality between Shopify and other enterprise systems. Work with APIs and webhooks for integrations and automations. Performance Optimization: Identify areas for optimization within the Shopify store, including improving page load times and site stability. Apply best practices for caching, image optimization, and other performance-enhancing techniques. Conduct regular audits to ensure the store performs optimally under different conditions. Security and Compliance: Ensure all technical solutions comply with security standards and regulations, including PCI DSS, GDPR, and other relevant security frameworks. Proactively identify security vulnerabilities and implement fixes. Collaboration and Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders from business, design, and development teams to gather and refine project requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical solutions that meet business goals and technical feasibility. Mentorship and Guidance: Mentor junior and mid-level developers on Shopify best practices, development techniques, and troubleshooting. Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the teams technical expertise. Stay up-to-date with new features, tools, and industry trends, and provide guidance to the team on their implementation. Best Practices & Documentation: Ensure that all development work adheres to Shopify’s best practices and industry standards. Maintain clear and concise documentation for code, integrations, and solutions implemented. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Shopify developer, architect, or engineer with hands-on experience in Shopify Plus development. Extensive knowledge of Shopify's Liquid templating language, Shopify APIs, and app development. Experience with third-party integrations (e.g., ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and marketing tools). Expertise in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js). Experience with performance optimization techniques for e-commerce sites (image optimization, lazy loading, etc.). Solid understanding of security best practices in e-commerce development. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, design teams, and developers. Experience mentoring and guiding development teams. Knowledge of version control (Git) and modern development workflows. Preferred Skills: Shopify Plus certification or equivalent expertise in Shopify platform. Experience with headless commerce architectures and integrations. Familiarity with serverless architectures, cloud hosting (AWS, Google Cloud), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, etc.). Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Trello.
