Shop Manager

As a part of our team, your role will involve supporting the effective administration, organization, and growth of the business unit to help achieve the strategic goals of the VKB Group. This includes performing various administrative functions such as recordkeeping, reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal systems. You will also be responsible for maintaining and reconciling data on business systems, handling stock administration, and supporting personnel administration tasks such as staff scheduling and onboarding documentation. To excel in this role, you should possess a Grade 12 or NQF4 qualification, along with at least 3 years of previous experience in the agricultural retail industry. Strong administrative and organizational skills are essential, as well as excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office. Experience with business/ERP systems will be an added advantage. You should be willing to work afterhours when required and undergo continuous training to enhance your skills. In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also be expected to provide excellent customer service, ensure compliance with VKB policies and procedures, and contribute to operational efficiency by identifying opportunities for improvement. Skills such as exceptional interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, marketing skills, and business acumen will be beneficial in this role. The ability to work independently, manage conflicts, and communicate effectively will also be key to your success.
