Structural Assessment and Recommendations: Perform assessments for existing buildings and recommend necessary reinforcements or modifications. Required Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, focusing on residential, canopy, and egress stair design. Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with ASCE 7, IBC, NFPA 13, AISC 360, and other relevant standards. Software Proficiency: Experience with design software like SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD Pro, RAM, or RISA. Drafting Expertise: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools for structural detailing. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills for load calculations and structural assessments.
