Job Description

Trustegic is looking for Shipyard Painting Manager to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey

Lead and manage the painting department, including supervisors, foremen, and painting crews.
Develop painting schedules, manpower plans, and material requirements for projects.
Oversee surface preparation, priming, coating, and finishing of ships, offshore structures, and shipyard facilities.
Ensure adherence to international coating standards (e.g., SSPC, NACE, ISO) and classification society requirements.
Conduct inspections during and after painting to ensure quality and compliance.
Manage inventory of paints, coatings, consumables, and related equipment.
Liaise with project managers, quality inspectors, and clients to ensure painting milestones are achieved.
Implement and enforce safety standards, ensuring workers use PPE and follow environmental guidelines for hazardous materials.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to paint application or coating failures.

Education and Experience:

Minimum 3 yrs. background in marine engineering, naval architecture, or a related field, coupled with hands-on experience in shipyard painting and coating.
