Your primary responsibilities will include managing the Home Page, overseeing breaking news and trending stories, and ensuring the audience receives the latest information promptly. Additionally, you will be tasked with optimizing content for better engagement and visibility. Your main duties will involve curating, writing, and editing news stories with precision and speed. You will need to stay updated on breaking news and trending topics, ensuring live updates are managed effectively. It will also be your responsibility to guarantee that all content is search engine optimized and encourages audience interaction. You will oversee the content flow during your shift to ensure timely and top-notch publication and manage the Home Page's priority. To excel in this role, you should possess 3-5 years of experience in managing shifts in a digital newsroom. Strong editorial judgment and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential qualities. Proficiency in digital publishing tools, traffic monitoring tools, content management systems (CMS), and multimedia formats is necessary. A strong command of Hindi is crucial, while basic proficiency in English is also required.
