1. Get the plan from PPC and distribute among various section (as required)
2. Ensuring required raw material is available in the section
3. Ensuring the running production is as per the plan received while visiting each section when ensuring movement of goods from one to another section
4. Monitoring and ensuring all the operators are at their respective station and not wasting time, e.g phone watching, Spending time out of section
5. Ensure efficient intersection movement of goods. Ensuring handover thrice in a shift to next station and personally confirm with respective operator/section in charge.
6. Discuss target shortfall with section in charge and schedule failure and ensure fulfilment of production target.
7. Close coordination among various section in charge & document the production reports.
8. Manage employee shifts as required or reassignment of operator from one section to another in discussion with production manager and section in charge.
9. Manage daily schedules and employee shifts as required. He is primary person responsible for basic discipline of operators. E.g. time discipline, behaviour etc. Section in charge will inform him also for any absence/leave of operator.
10. Resolve the daily issues in every section when section in charge is not there and report to production manager. Resolving daily issues is primarily responsibility of section in charge.
11. Ensure packing of finished goods in time.
12. Make Packing Slip.
