Shift Engineer Pre-Growth (CCDP & Hopper Charging)

Join our New Energy Business unit in the Ingot Growing Operations team. We're looking for a

Shift Engineer

to lead operations in the

Silicon Preparation Unit (SPU)

, which includes both Recycle Silicon and Pre-Growth sections.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage operations like dopant preparation, crucible charging, and hopper charging.
Lead manpower (FTEs & temps) across manual, semi-auto, and auto equipment.
Ensure 100% compliance with safety and operational standards.
Maintain production output as per plan and drive zero-defect operations.
Use MES/ERP systems for tracking, batch posting, and inventory accuracy.
Foster team training, safety culture, and continuous process improvements.
Participate in audits, plant reviews, and emergency readiness.

Ideal Candidate Should Have:

Hands-on experience in plant operations, especially metal handling or large-volume charging.
Leadership qualities with an ownership mindset and shift handling capabilities.
Exposure to large teams (25+ people) and fast-paced startup environments.
Familiarity with safety protocols and emergency response planning.

Good to Have:

Knowledge of SOPs, CTQs, Six Sigma, SPC, Kaizen, ISO standards.
Proficiency in MS Office tools and working knowledge of Gujarati, Hindi, and English.
