Ensure zero Lost Time Cases (LTC)
Uphold a zero-tolerance policy toward unsafe behaviors
Lead by example in strictly adhering to safety standards and compliance on the shop floor
Ensure all operations align with Health, Safety, Environment, and Fire (HSEF) standards
Conduct regular Gemba walks to identify and correct unsafe acts and conditions
Lead safety audits, inspections, and maintain accurate documentation

Production

Lead the section start-up with a focus on zero safety incidents, zero quality issues, and no unplanned equipment shutdowns
Foster a culture of process and system-driven operations management
Ensure production output aligns with planned targets
Strive for optimal inventory accuracy by reconciling physical stock with system records
Guarantee 100% batch postings and material consumption tracking through MES and ERP systems
Maintain 5S standards across the shop floor
Prepare and share regular production reports in line with governance and monitoring systems
Participate in periodic plant performance reviews
Drive and achieve benchmark Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
Lead operational audits and visits, along with documentation
Follow structured Handover-Takeover (HOTO) procedures to ensure smooth shift transition
Plan and ensure full availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables for the upcoming shift

Quality

Perform all tasks in compliance with documented and approved procedures
Ensure inputs and outputs meet approved quality specifications
Maintain high shop floor discipline and implement engineering or administrative controls to eliminate sources of contamination
Operate strictly within Standard Operating Conditions (aim control limits)
Utilize data analysis to develop engineering solutions for quality assurance, customer complaint resolution, process optimization, and troubleshooting

Cost

Identify and eliminate losses while improving equipment yield by leveraging their design capabilities

Team / Manpower

Build team capability by strengthening fundamental engineering knowledge of section equipment
Provide hands-on coaching and mentorship to enhance understanding of operational best practices
