Lead and demonstrate strict adherence to safety standards and compliance on the shop floor.
Ensure operations follow health, safety, environment, and fire standards.
Conduct periodic Gemba rounds to control unsafe acts and conditions on the shop floor.
Lead audits, visits, and documentation related to safety practices.

Production

Lead the start-up of the section with a focus on zero safety incidents, zero quality issues, and no equipment shutdowns.
Foster a process/system-based culture in managing operations.
Ensure production output meets the production plan.
Achieve optimal inventory accuracy, ensuring physical stock aligns with system stock.
Guarantee 100% posting of batches and full material consumption through MES & ERP systems.
Maintain a clean and organized shop floor with proper implementation of 5S.
Release periodic production-related reports in line with governance systems.
Participate in regular plant review meetings.
Lead efforts to achieve benchmark Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
Lead audits, visits, and documentation related to production processes.
Ensure a smooth handover of shift charges according to established guidelines and ensure the availability of raw materials, packing materials, and consumables for the upcoming shift.

Quality

Ensure all operations are performed according to documented and approved procedures.
Maintain input and output according to approved quality specifications.
Eliminate contamination sources by enforcing best practices on the shop floor and applying appropriate engineering or administrative controls.
Ensure operations are carried out within standard operating conditions, within aim and control limits.
Provide engineering solutions through data analysis to support quality assurance, customer complaint evaluations, process management, and troubleshooting.

Cost

Eliminate losses and improve the yield of equipment setups by demonstrating their design capabilities.

Team / Manpower

Develop the team by enhancing their understanding of engineering knowledge related to equipment in the section.
Provide guidance and coaching to the workforce on operational nuances of the section.
