Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Strong understanding of
ferro alloys manufacturing processes
(e.g., FeSi, FeMn, SiMn) and plant operations.
Expertise in
mechanical maintenance
of heavy industrial equipment like conveyors, crushers, rotary kilns, furnaces, cooling systems, and gearboxes.
Knowledge of
hydraulic and pneumatic systems
.
Familiarity with
preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance
procedures.
Proficiency in
mechanical drawing interpretation
and basic design modifications.
Awareness of
metallurgy basics
and material properties related to high-temperature environments.
Shift planning and manpower deployment.
Monitoring and controlling plant parameters to ensure optimal production.
Root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures.
Implementation of
TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
and
5S practices
.
Spare parts management and vendor coordination.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset.
Strong communication skills for coordination with production, electrical, and quality teams.
Ability to work under pressure in continuous process industries.
Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP/ERP systems).
Report preparation and documentation skills.
