Job Description

Role Overview: As the Operator & Monitor of the Primary Plants at AL Group, your main responsibility is to ensure the efficient operation of the plants according to the daily production plan while adhering to safety, reliability, and efficiency guidelines. Your duties include conducting daily maintenance activities, supporting scheduled maintenance tasks, conducting routine plant inspections, resolving site-level issues, and reporting directly to the Production-in-Charge and being supervised by the Maintenance-in-Charge. Your contribution is crucial for safe and reliable plant operations, improving plant availability, and enhancing efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor Primary Plants to achieve best efficiency levels while complying with safety, reliability, and efficiency guidelines. - Conduct daily maintenance activities and support the Maintenance team in performing scheduled tasks to ensure plant safety and reliability. - Conduct routine plant inspections, resolve site-level issues, and consult with managers when necessary. - Develop and follow standard procedures for safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. - Report all safety and reliability incidents and deviations to managers. - Carry out troubleshooting and corrective actions without compromising safety and reliability. - Participate in Root Cause Analysis investigations and safety programs for safe plant operations. - Complete assigned training and qualification programs to improve competencies. - Participate in routine Maintenance works and adhere to the Management of Change process. - Practice ORACLE process for timely purchase of goods and services for production requirements. - Contribute to safe shutdown and startup activities for planned, unplanned, and emergency shutdowns. - Maintain professional etiquette and respect when dealing with colleagues and support teams. - Conduct routine plant rounds, fill daily checklists, raise service requests, participate in tool box meetings, and update operational information in the logbook. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's in Pharma with a ScMe (analytical chemist) qualification. - 5-6 years of experience in operation/commissioning of ASU process plants. - Working/understanding of process and technology used in plants. - Experience in instrumentation, mechanical, electrical, and ability to replace consumables. - Process-oriented with troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Good communication skills and basic fluency in English.
