Job Description

Role & responsibilities

CAD Design:
Develop detailed designs and layouts for sheet metal components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software.
Prototyping:
Create prototypes for new designs, ensuring they meet all specifications and standards.
Material Selection:
Choose suitable sheet metal materials (such as steel or aluminum) based on project requirements including strength, weight, and cost.
Customer Requirements:
Ensure that the design specifications meet customer requirements and provide technical expertise as needed.
Design and Development:
Handle the design and development of automated equipment, jigs, and fixtures for sheet metal work.
Detail Drawings:
Generate detailed drawings for sheet metal fabrication, including specific tolerances.
BOM Preparation:
Check drawings and prepare Bills of Materials (BOM).

Preferred candidate profile

Experience Required: Minimum 3 to 9 years of experience in sheet metal design from manufacturing companies.
