Job Summary:

Manager – Control Tower

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

• Lead the

  Control Tower operations

  for real-time tracking, exception management, and performance monitoring across first mile, mid mile, and last mile logistics.
• Ensure end-to-end visibility of shipments from origin to destination and drive proactive resolution of delivery delays, route deviations, and bottlenecks.
  
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like on-time dispatch, on-time delivery, order fill rate, transit SLA adherence, and exceptions management.
  

Team Leadership:

• Manage and mentor a

  team of control tower executives/analysts

  , ensuring round-the-clock monitoring and coordination.
• Define team goals, allocate responsibilities, and drive adherence to SLAs and SOPs.
  
• Conduct performance reviews, training sessions, and continuous development plans for the team.
  

Stakeholder Coordination:

• Act as the central point of contact between warehouse, transportation, customer service, planning, and vendor management teams.
  
• Work closely with 3PL partners and internal logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics plans.
  
• Support escalation management and coordinate with regional teams for rapid issue resolution.
  

Technology & Reporting:

• Leverage transportation management systems (TMS), control tower dashboards, and analytics platforms for visibility and reporting.
  
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to senior leadership, along with insights and improvement recommendations.
  
• Participate in digital transformation initiatives and continuous improvement projects to enhance visibility and responsiveness.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
  
• Minimum

  7 years of experience

  in supply chain/logistics operations, with at least

  2-3 years in a control tower or command centre role

  .
• Proven experience in

  leading teams

  , preferably in a high-volume distribution or logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes – inbound, outbound, and transportation.
  
• Proficient in tools like MS Excel, Google Sheets, ERP/TMS platforms, and logistics dashboards.
