Job Summary:

We are looking for a Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Frontend Developer who is skilled in front-end technologies, capable of developing reusable and scalable components, and has a clear understanding of eCommerce architecture and best practices.

The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality, customer-focused digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SFCC (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) frontend applications.
• Write clear, reusable, and optimised Vanilla JavaScript code.
• Build and maintain SCSS-based responsive layouts.
• Follow CSS BEM (Block, Element, Modifier) naming conventions.
• Work with SFCC cartridges and apply modular development principles.
• Build reusable Page Designer components.
• Manage and configure content slots and content assets effectively.
• Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and QA teams.
• Be proactive in problem-solving and escalate blockers promptly.
• Provide concise daily updates and communicate clearly about timelines and challenges.
• Understand client requirements and provide effective, scalable solutions.
• Optional: Familiarity with Optimizely or Sitespect A/B testing tools is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of overall software development experience.
• At least 1.5 years of hands-on work experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Strong experience with Vanilla JavaScript and SCSS.
• Familiarity with SFCC cartridge architecture and Page Designer concepts.
• Experience implementing BEM methodology in large-scale projects.
• Exposure to content slots, content assets, and A/B testing frameworks (Optimizely or Sitespect preferred).
• Experience collaborating in Agile environments.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and deliver solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) frontend development.
• Strong knowledge of Vanilla JavaScript, SCSS, and HTML5.
• Experience with CSS BEM methodology for scalable styling.
• Understanding of SFCC cartridge-based architecture and Page Designer.
• Familiarity with Optimizely or Sitespect A/B testing tools (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Client-focused and solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
