Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Service Engineer located in Chennai. The Service Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing welding equipment. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine maintenance checks, diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, conducting repairs, and providing technical support to customers. The role also involves educating customers on the proper use and maintenance of welding equipment and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting welding equipment issues
• Experience in performing maintenance and repairs on welding equipment
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of welding equipment and processes
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant certifications and training in welding equipment maintenance and repair are a plus
