Services Engineer & propulsion control

As a Service Engineer Propulsion & Controls, you will be responsible for the technical aspects related to specific tasks in the maritime industry. Your role will involve leadership and delivery against program milestones, with a focus on continuous improvement and adherence to processes and procedures. Your responsibilities will include identifying and implementing best practices, making judgments based on precedents, and solving technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. Key Responsibilities: - Take technical responsibility for specific tasks requiring leadership and delivery against program milestones. - Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives and transfer best practices. - Apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. - Make judgments on technical problems and evaluate options based on practice and experience. - Provide technical support and guidance in the field when required. - Share knowledge and support the on-the-job development of others. Qualifications Required: - B.E./ Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation. - 2+ years of experience in the maritime industry with a focus on Propulsion & Controls. - Good understanding and knowledge of products, systems, their functionality, and applications. - Experience with the company's products is preferred. Additional Details: You should have good communication skills, a positive attitude, and be self-motivated with a go-ahead spirit. Extensive travel will be required, and you should be willing to travel on short notice to any part of the world where the company deems safe.
