Services Engineer - Networks

Summary

• Responsible for designing, building, delivering and maintaining software applications & services.
• Working in the areas of machine, cloud, platform and/or application.
• Responsible for software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures and implementation.

Essential Responsibilities:

• As Services Software Specialist in our Digital Implementation Services team, you will be responsible for working on software fulfilment projects from our end customer.
• Responsibilities include understanding projects requirements, performing fit gap analysis, proposing software solution, and implementing same using software development methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques.
• As Services Specialist, you will demonstrate understanding of core data structures and algorithms and have the ability to implement them using language of choice in your projects.
• As a Services Specialist, you will be writing code using computer programming languages that meets standards and delivers desired performance & functionality using the technology selected for the project.
• This role includes active customer engagement where you will be taking part in workshops, meetings (face to face or tele-presence), site visits. As a services Specialist, you are expected to create customer delight by showing preparedness in meetings, prompt communication, on time delivery, in budgeted resources.

Qualifications/Requirements:

For roles outside USA:

• Engineering Degree/ B.Tech./ B.E.
• 2 - 5 years of experience
• Candidate with below Technical Skill-Set will be preferred:
• Good understanding of IT Infra, Networks and Cyber Security
• Hands-on experience on working on Network Switches, Routers, Firewalls
• System build-up and understanding of Infra design and scalability
• Network troubleshooting and providing RCA
• Good communication skills
• Open to travel across multiple customer sites in India
