Role Overview: You will be responsible for supporting the efforts within application development, maintenance, and support. Your key duties will include building solutions that comply with company software quality assurance/quality control and software engineering standards, analyzing client requirements, proposing technical solutions, coding and debugging software applications, maintaining and implementing existing software applications, creating and maintaining architecture documents, promoting automation and standardization, mentoring junior team members, and conducting code and artifacts reviews. Additionally, you will protect operations by keeping information confidential. Key Responsibilities: - Support application development, maintenance, and support - Build solutions in compliance with software quality standards - Analyze client requirements and propose technical solutions - Code and debug software applications - Maintain and implement existing software applications - Create and maintain architecture documents - Promote automation and standardization - Mentor junior team members - Conduct code and artifacts reviews - Protect operations by maintaining information confidentiality Qualifications Required: - Masters/Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (MCA/BCA/BE) - Experience in Service Now implementation is desirable - Proficiency in Data formats like JSON and XML - Good knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, and CSS - Strong grasp of Object-Oriented concepts - Understanding of best practices for technical design and development - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Agility, quick learner, and ability to prioritize and manage changing priorities - Knowledge of administration of Service Now instance - Experience in scripting and designing - Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST, and JSON) - Understanding of ITIL Additional Details (About Virtusa): Virtusa embodies values such as teamwork, quality of life, and professional and personal development.
