Job Description: As a Project Manager at Ameriprise India LLP, you will have end-to-end ownership of technology projects or releases. You will plan and handle all aspects of the project, including cost, schedule, scope, quality, and resources following appropriate methodologies. Your responsibilities include providing technical expertise and leadership to the team, ensuring activities align with architectural objectives, and successfully deploying into the production environment. You will also mentor the team, champion standard processes, and provide troubleshooting for development and test environment issues. Key Responsibilities: - Delivering an annual portfolio of moderately sophisticated technology projects through effective management of budget, schedule, scope, quality, and risk. - Providing leadership to project resources to ensure timely delivery on commitments/tasks and leading cross-organizational resources for successful project delivery. - Influencing continuous improvement of processes, policies, and best practices to optimize performance and availability of technologies. - Driving and developing consistent technical build, implementation, and support processes, verifying designs, and ensuring ongoing improvements align with standard process principles. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent relevant work experience. - 10+ years of total experience with a successful track record of delivering projects meeting business objectives, time, budget, and quality guidelines. - Solid understanding of business functional areas, management issues, and IT organization systems and capabilities. - Experience managing project plans, timelines, test plans, resources, and budgets. - Superior written and verbal communication skills, including executive level presentations. - Strong analytic and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Successful experience driving cross-functional and cross-organizational teams to meet project objectives. - Solid ability to work effectively with US and global employee and contract resources. - PMP/PMI-ACI certification.
