Job Title:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in ServiceNow CMDB
  • Good experience on ServiceNow CMDB
  • Strong knowledge in managing the Configuration Management Database within the ServiceNow platform by ensuring data accuracy, integrity, relevance for IT assets, completeness, and compliance through reconciliation processes and quality checks.
  • Extensive knowledge in configuring Discovery and Service Mapping, applying the Common Service Data Model (CSDM), data quality and reconciliation, developing reporting and dashboards, and supporting TSM processes like Change, Incident, and Problem Management
  • Define and implement data structures, classes, and relationships for configuration items (CIs).
  • Manage CI lifecycle and relationships to support business services and IT processes
  • Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to automatically populate the CMDB
  • Address and resolve data discrepancies, exceptions, and integration errors
  • Design and build dashboards and reports to provide visibility into CMDB health and performance.
  • Excellent communication Skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must have Knowledge in ServiceNow ITIL module.
  • Incident,Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management: Demonstrated expertise in handling incidents, problem, change, and knowledge management processes within the ServiceNow framework.
  • Configures and Maintains Discovery Application
  • Works closely with Configuration Manager in the population of CMDB
    Interfaces with Compute, Network, and Security teams to assure access and permissions.
  • Resolving discovery errors related to permissions and access.
  • Assuring completion of scheduled discovery jobs
  • Assisting in the validation and testing of Discovery after upgrades
  • Reviewing the environment for changes and new requirements that may drive changes to the Discovery solution.
  • Assures downloads from the ServiceNow store occur monthly for CMDB Classes and Discovery patterns.
  • Add new schedules, IP ranges, and credentials for new devices and environments
  • Integration with third party discovery tools, such as Logic Monitor.
    Provide timely resolution to systems problems.
  • Develop effective working relationships with other departments, groups, managers, and vendors.
  • Proactively seek efficient and quality solutions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
