Job Description

ServiceNow ITAM BA JD:

Requirement Gathering & Analysis

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for ITAM processes.
Conduct workshops to refine user stories and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Perform gap analysis between current processes and best practices (ITIL, CSDM).

Solution Design & Documentation

Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for configuration and development teams.
Document workflows, process diagrams, and acceptance criteria.
Create wireframes/mockups for user stories and review with stakeholders.

Implementation Support

Work closely with ServiceNow developers and architects to ensure accurate configuration of ITAM modules.
Assist in module configuration, reporting, and testing.
Support organizational change management and end-user training.

Governance & Compliance

Ensure ITAM processes align with compliance frameworks and licensing requirements.
Drive data integrity and CMDB accuracy for asset records.
Monitor and report on ITAM KPIs and performance metrics.

Collaboration

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience

58+ years in IT Asset Management and Business Analysis.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITAM modules (SAM Pro, HAM Pro).
Familiarity with ITIL processes and CSDM standards.

Technical Skills

Understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities.
Ability to create user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
Knowledge of software licensing models and compliance.

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (SAM/HAM).
BA certification (CBAP or similar).
Experience with integrations (SCCM, JAMF, Flexera).
