ServiceNow HRSD Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Analysis & Design:

  Gather and document HR business requirements, acting as a subject matter expert to translate them into functional designs and technical specifications within the ServiceNow platform.

• Platform Implementation:

  Configure and implement various HRSD components, including HR Service Portal, Case Management, Knowledge Management, Virtual Agent, and mobile applications.

• Integration & Automation:

  Design and develop integrations with other HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP) using the Integration Hub, and build automated workflows using Flow Designer.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:

  Partner with HR and IT stakeholders, business users, and project managers to drive initiatives, ensure alignment, and manage project deliverables effectively.

• Platform Support & Optimization:

  Provide ongoing support for the platform, assist with incident resolution, advise on platform features, and identify opportunities for process and system optimization.

• Testing & Quality Assurance:

  Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), identify and escalate defects, and work with QA teams to address design gaps and ensure solution quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Expertise:

  Hands-on experience implementing and customizing ServiceNow HRSD, with strong skills in JavaScript, Glide API, and Flow Designer.

• HR Process Knowledge:

  A solid understanding of HR processes, terminology, policies, and best practices.

• Agile Methodologies:

  Experience working in agile project environments.

• Communication & Stakeholder Management:

  Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills to bridge business and technical teams.

• Certifications:

  ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist HRSD are often preferred or mandatory.

• Experience:

  Several years of experience in workflow technologies and ServiceNow, with a specific focus on the HRSD module
