CMDB Management
• New CMDB Class design and its CI end-to-end Lifecycle Management • Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date data for all Configuration Items (CIs) and their relationships. • Establish, document, and enforce CMDB data management standards and processes. • Integrate CMDB activities with change, incident, and problem management processes. • End-to-End Application CI management as per CSDM Guidelines • Minimise the existing Technical Debt by leveraging or adopting the latest and greatest features available OOB. Data Quality and Governance

Develop and execute strategies to ensure data quality, including auditing and cleansing routines.
• Proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies to maintain a reliable CMDB. • Work collaboratively to ensure adherence to data governance policies. • Integrate CMDB with other tools and systems (e.g., asset management, monitoring, and discovery tools) to improve data accuracy and automation Stakeholder Collaboration and Training • Work closely with other teams (e.g., Engineering, Cloud, Security, Audit) to ensure that the CMDB supports processes like Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Asset Management. • Act as the key point of contact for CMDB-related queries and enhancements. • Partner with IT teams, Engineering, Agile Teams, and business stakeholders to align CMDB with operational needs. • Educate and train teams on the importance of CMDB processes and data accuracy. Reporting and Analysis • Generate insightful reports and dashboards to monitor CMDB health and key performance indicators. • Use data analysis to support decision-making, operational efficiency, and risk management efforts. Compliance and Audit • Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements. • Maintain detailed audit trails for all CMDB updates and changes. Qualifications • 6-8 years of ServiceNow CMDB Development Experience • Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform, especially CMDB modules and ITSM processes. • Familiarity with ITIL processes, especially Configuration Management and Change Management. • Strong background in data governance, data quality, and database management. • Ability to troubleshoot issues related to CMDB data, integrations, and relationships. • Experience with automation tools, including Discovery, ServiceNow Orchestration, and custom scripting in ServiceNow (e.g., using JavaScript or Business Rules). • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and training. • Experience Developing Solutions supporting Asset & Configuration Management • SaaS Experience / Cloud Development Experience • Experience with web-based development languages (JavaScript, Angular JS, HTML, CSS, AJAX, HTTP, XML)
